Pink Mangano Calcite

Pink Mangano Calcite 💗 is a soft pink stone that is commonly found with white banding. The energy is soothing, cooling, feminine. She is here to help you heal trauma and find that solid sense of peace that comes when you realise your self worth.
She is a form of calcium carbonate that contains the element Manganese. This is what gives her that pale pink hue and her ‘Mangano’ moniker.
Her very subtle beauty is hard to photograph. She might not even stand out against some of the other Pink Ladies in the group shot.
But when the lights go out she has an amazing property that these other girls don’t. She glows up into a Hot Pink Crystal Goddess under a black light 🌟
For the real nerds out there, Pink Mangano Calcite exists in a solid state series almost halfway between pure white Calcite and one of my most beloved rocks of all time - Rhodochrosite🤤
Add Manganese (Mn) to calcium carbonate/Calcite (CaCO3) and you get the sweet child Pink Mangano Calcite (Ca,MnCO3). Even more Mn (ions displacing the Ca ions) and you get the seriously magic gemmy pink/red Rhodochrosite (MnCO3). I think that’s wild. I also don’t get out much.
I hope you love her as much as I do -
